We have a number of different membership packages to choose from, simply pick the one that best suit your needs, however you want to play:
New members of all ages and abilities are welcome to join anytime throughout the year, with no joining fee or waiting list to hamper your enthusiasm to get started.

Full Membership
Annual course fees are detailed below for access to the course and facilities for the season from 1st April 2026 (or upon payment of fees if after 1st April) until 31st March 2027.
Our membership runs from the 1st April to 31st March the following year, whenever you sign up. If you are looking at joining us later in the year then please get in touch to find out more about mid-season rates.

summer Membership – £650
A fair weather golfer? That’s ok, we know winter can be bracing so we’ve created a Summer Membership option just for you.
Running from 1st April until 31st October, you can enjoy full membership benefits and participate in all competitions upon payment of a club membership (find out more about this membership at the bottom of this page).
buddy Membership – £220
If you have a child or grandchild that is a junior member (aged 17 and under), you may join as a “Buddy”.
As a buddy member, you can only play with that child and cannot hold a handicap or play in competitions . There is no limit on when you can play or how often you can play.
Associate Membership – £400
Associate Membership is a great way to benefit from a second membership if you are a member elsewhere, especially if you have a holiday home in the area or just want a bit more variety.
You must be a member of another Golf Club affiliated to a national golf union and we will ask for proof of current membership upon joining. Associate members are eligible for an away handicap and to participate in competitions through joining the Members Club (find out more about this membership at the bottom of this page).
Flexible Membership – £440
This is a credit based membership which allows you to play at a time which is convenient to you. This credit based membership means you can enjoy playing regularly but without having to pay a full green fee each time.
Flexible members are welcome to obtain a handicap and play in limited competitions, upon payment of a club membership (find out more about this membership at the bottom of this page). This is an annual membership running from 1st April until 31st March the following year, in line with our other membership. All credits should be used before the membership end date (31st March).
Country Membership – £610
If you live 20 miles or more away but aren’t a member of another golf club, you can enjoy full playing rights 7 days a week, including competitions with this membership.
Country members can enjoy full membership benefits and participate in all competitions upon payment of a club membership (find out more about this membership at the bottom of this page).
Academy Membership
Our Academy Membership is designed specifically for new golfers who are beginning their journey into the game through coaching and development at Bentham Golf Club.
This membership is primarily intended for those taking part in our Get Into Golf programme or beginner coaching with our Head PGA Professional, Sophie Daws.
The Academy Membership provides a welcoming introduction to golf club membership, helping new players build confidence on the course while continuing their development.
As part of the programme, Academy Members may also qualify for a preferential rate when progressing onto a full membership the following year.

Buggy Membership – £140
A cost saving option for those who need to use a buggy when they play regularly.
There is an upfront payment of £140 with a small addition fee everytime you hire a buggy. Visitors and club members will have to pay an additional fee if sharing with a buggy member.
Corporate Membership
Our Corporate Membership packages, also known as corporate sponsorship, offer a great opportunity to promote your business year round whilst also treating valued customers or employees to a round of golf or two. Our packages offer a range of opportunities to not only reward those who your company values but also to make added extras such as training days or organised golf days, better value for money.

We do also have lockers available for hire if you don’t want to have to take your clubs home with you all the time. The cost is £30 per locker for the year and they are available in the ladies and gents locker rooms. Please ask in the golf shop to find out which ones are available.
Club Membership:
To be eligible to have a handicap and to play in competitions and team fixtures it is necessary to pay a Club Membership of £35 to the Members Club.
The Members Club Membership is £35 per person, which is paid to “Bentham Golf Club Members Club“. The club is made up of a small committee which includes the President, Captain and Lady Captain to name but a few. This £35 membership includes union affiliation fees for your handicap and competition administration (handicap software, trophy engraving etc) as well as a few other little benefits throughout the year.
