What to wear
We are fairly relaxed here in Bentham, but we do still insist that if you have come to play golf, you must dress for golf.
Jeans and sportswear such as jogging bottoms are not acceptable on the golf course.
If you are only coming to use the driving range only or enjoy a bite to eat in 1922 Bar & Kitchen, then there is no dress code.
A little bit of etiquette
Whilst we don’t want to be dictators, we do ask that all golfers respect the unwritten laws of golf.
It will improve your enjoyment and also that of those playing around you. Please remember to:
- Keep up with the game in front at all times.
- Don’t stand close to or directly behind the ball, move or talk when a player is taking a shot.
- Immediately repair any pitch marks on greens.
- Replace divots on the course immediately and firmly press them down with your foot.
- Avoid delaying play for those behind you; once you have holed out please do not try putts over again, or mark your cards by the green.
